Super absorbent polymer
 Water
is the condition of creature to live. No water no life. Thus,
obtaining, maintaining and using of water are closely linked
with our life from of old.
In the north of China that is drought, especially in the
place of irrigating inconveniently, water supply for plants
is a hard and expensive job. The super absorbent polymer of
Shanghai Zhongwei Biochemistry Limited Company can keep and
control water in the soil more scientifically and efficiently
to improve the utilization of water.
Function and Characteristics of Products:
Super absorbent polymer is a special functional high molecule.
It has the following functions and characteristics:
1. Sopping fast: This trait is desirable in area that is
drought or rainfall intensively. If it rains, super absorbent
polymer can sop water quickly and reduce the loss of water.
2. High water absorption: The super absorbent polymer can
sop pure water at least 400 times of its own weight. It can
keep and save water efficiently.
3. Slow release: The absorbed water can't be simply extruded
by physical ways. It can keep water soundly as a micro-reservoir
to make the root of seed and plant absorb it slowly.
4. Being able to use many times: It can be used many times
to absorb and release water efficiently.
5. Powerful stability: PH of common soil, compound fertilizers
and irrigating water often can't affect this product. Under
the temperature of 150≧ it is still stable. After repeat refrigeration
and thaw, the ability of absorbing and keeping water is almost
constant.
6. No pollution: This product is non-poisonous and unharmful.
7.Containing abundant kalium ion: This product contains
beneficial kalium ion while no harmful metal ions.
8. Saving water and fertilizer: This product can reduce
the frequency of irrigation and fertilization and can also
prevent water-soluble fertilizer from losing and being ineffective
quickly.
 Guidelines
of usage:
The super absorbent polymer of our company and its series
products can be widely used in the west of Northeast China,
north of North China and the Northwest China. The application
prospect is also wide in city virescence and high way, railway
virescence etc.
1. Super Absorbent Polymer (ZW020)
Blend proper amount of super absorbent polymer and soil
(generally the weight is 1°~5° of dry soil and varies according
to the dryness of soil) and water it thoroughly. There is
at least 5cm topsoil on the surface in order to avoid quick
evaporation due to direct sunshine.
Another effective way is to dip proper amount of super absorbent
polymer in water for 0.5-2 hours (super absorbent polymer:
water is 1:150-500 and the more pure the water is, the higher
the water adsorption is). Blend sopped gels and soil evenly.
Gel: soil is 1:5-10. The surface is covered by at least 5cm
topsoil. In addition, we should change the amount of super
absorbent polymer according to seed, habit and local weather.
For example, young plant of conifer can use this preparation
5-30g and young plant of broadleaf tree can use it 30-50g.
While, the using amount to adult tree is according to crown
diameter of the tree. As for turf, the 4-8cm depth of soil
can mix 10-30g super absorbent polymer per square meter.
2. Transplanting Hydroabsorbent (ZW080)
This product is designed specially for young plant transplanting
of forestry and horticulture. In the process of transplanting,
the survival rate of the plant is often low due to the loss
of water in the root. This product can dramatically enhance
the survival rate because it can keep abundant water in the
root of plant. And this product has filed patent in China
(Patent Number:001198689.8). The using way is to dip this
product into water (transplanting hydroabsorbent: water is
1:100-200, if nesscessary, add some binder or slurry). And
then you should dip the plant into the preparation and it's
ok.
3. Seed Coating hydroabsorbent (ZW300)
Desertification is more and more serious day by day and
it became the great natural disaster in the world. In the
north of China the great degradation of grassland causes the
shortage of grass and the decline of stock-carrying capacity.
More seriously, cities are facing the danger of desertification.
The coated grass seed can bear harsh living environment and
improve the survival rate obviously. We believe the coating
hydroabsorbent will be applied more widely and efficiently
in the development of modern agriculture. Coating with super
absorbent polymer is the main feature of this product. According
to the physiological requirements of the seeds, we add some
compound fertilizer or pesticide scientifically, thus, the
formation of the small environment can offer excellent ecological
condition for growth of the seed and then it can bear worse
outer environment. After coating to shape, the seed is in
favor of sowing, dibbling, drilling and especially aerial
sowing. It has filed patent in China (Patent Number: 00125478.2).
The using way: (for reference only) The seed should be coated
first by powder and then mix super absorbent polymer, talcum
powder and clay at a proper rate (super absorbent polymer
45%, talcum powder 35%, clay 15%) as seed preparation. Nutritious
solution (2-5°weight of seed) can be directly added in binder
preparation (CMC) The seeds should be sprayed thoroughly before
coating. Our company offers seed coating hydroabsorbent and
the process as well.
4. Spurting hydroabsorbent
The spurting technology is a vegetation planting technology
regarding water as carrier. Mix seed, fertilizer, covering
materials and soil stable agent with water fully and spurt
them onto the planting surface with high-tension spray gun.
Alien soil and protecting net should be added if the surface
consists of rock or hill. The using way: Mix super absorbent
polymer, seed, fertilizer and wood fiber together and the
amount is about 0.2% of water or 10-20g/m2.
5.CDT
CDT is designed for solving more serious desertification
day by day at present. And it has filed patent in China (Patent
Number: 00119688.x). The purpose of this product is to offer
an excellent small environment for growth of plant under inferior
natural condition. Because nutrition and water is the base
of growth of plant, we produce CDT that mainly contains super
absorbent polymer, organic fertilizer, plant growing hormone
and trace elements. According to the rule of "customized
by large scale", we will set special and best CDT prescription,
using way and planting plan according to the users' requirements
and local weather, soil and species. The using way is to sow
CDT into soil directly and the depth under the soil is 5-20cm
for best. After using it we should water enough or wait for
rain to make CDT absorb enough water. When sowing, we should
sow CDT and seed together. As for grass planting, the amount
of CDT is 3-10kg per mu. As for tree transplanting, mix CDT
and excavated soil evenly (The amount of CDT is 5° of soil)
and then fill them back into the holes. As for the adult tree
we may dig some holes evenly around it and mix CDT and excavated
soil and then fill them back to the holes.
