company, Shanghai Zhongwei Biochemistry Co., Ltd., is a Shanghai
Municipal new and hi-tech enterprise approved by Shanghai
Municipality. We are mainly engaged in researching, developing,
manufacturing and investing all kinds of new vegetable colloid
materials in the fields of food, medicine and fine chemistry.
Our technological advantage is to extract effective elements
from all kinds of seaweeds, vegetables and fermentation broths
cultivated, planted and bred by ourselves with advanced and

¡¡¡¡We have owned 8 patents, and our technical
level has reached international advanced level through the
appraisal of Institute of Scientific & Technical Information
of Shanghai.
¡¡¡¡Our two major projects of ¡°Combat Desertification Technology(CDT)¡± and ¡°Gellan
Gum¡±were selected as Grade-A ¡°Transfer Project of Shanghai
New & Hi-tech Achievements¡± respectively in 2000 and 2001.

¡¡¡¡In the invitation to bid of ¡°Sand Control
Emergency Technology Demonstration Project round the Capital
(round Beijing)¡± assigned by the State Council, our CDT has
made a notable effect in the great project of anti-desertification
of adjacent area of Beijing. Besides, we have participated
in the bidding of ¡°Sand Control Emergency Technology Demonstration
Project in Xilingele Grassland (FS2000-006)¡± and undertaken
¡°Sand Control Emergency Technology Demonstration Project in
the mountainous region of Yanshan¡±, where is only 180km away
from Tian An-men of Beijing as the main bidding unit.
¡¡¡¡Recently, our company has accepted the project
of ¡°Beijing-Tianjin Sandstorm Source Management¡ªEcological
Economic Construction in Xiaobazi of Fengning¡±, with the bid
price of RMB250 million. The project planning has already
been passed. Our company will make great efforts to establish
the model for the solution of desertification problem, issues
concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers of China and
2008¡¯Olympic Games.
